Real Estate
Property searches are local. Your visibility is not.
Someone is looking for exactly what you offer, in exactly the area you operate in. They search, and they find a listing site, an aggregator, or a national brand with no real presence in that neighbourhood. You are not on the page at all.
Who this is for
Property is not one business. The approach below applies across it, though the searches worth winning differ by segment.
Developers and builders
Project names, launch searches, area comparisons.
Sales agencies and brokers
Locality searches, property types, price brackets.
Rentals and co-living
Availability, budgets, commute and area questions.
Commercial and leasing
Office and retail space by location and size.
Property management
Owner side searches, service and area terms.
Land and plots
Location, approval status, investment questions.
Why the big sites keep winning
You are not competing with other property businesses. You are competing with companies whose entire product is search visibility.
Listing sites and aggregators have hundreds of thousands of pages, dedicated technical teams, and years of accumulated authority. Trying to beat them on the broad searches, the ones with the biggest numbers, is a losing game for almost anyone.
But those broad searches are not where enquiries come from. Someone typing a generic property term is browsing. Someone searching a specific area, a named project, a budget, or a particular requirement is much closer to picking up the phone. Those searches are far less contested, and they reward local knowledge a national platform cannot fake.
Where the winnable searches sit
The pattern holds across every property segment we work in.
What this has produced
Two property businesses, both with websites generating no organic enquiries when we started.
UAE real estate
Six month engagement
Bangalore real estate
Eight month engagement
What we do differently for property
Build pages for places
A page for every area, project, and property type you actually deal in, so you appear for the specific searches your customers make.
Location page architecture with internal linking structure.
Win the map results
For anyone searching nearby, the map results sit above everything else. Most property businesses have never set this up properly.
Google Business Profile optimisation and citation consistency.
Answer what people actually type
Budgets, availability, area comparisons, approvals, commute times. The large sites answer these badly, which is your opening.
Question led content with FAQ schema markup.
Get named when buyers ask AI
More people now ask an assistant which areas or builders to consider. Being named there is becoming its own channel.
Structured content built for AI answer engine citation.

Questions property businesses ask
Can we actually outrank the big listing sites?
Not on the broad searches, and anyone promising that is not being straight with you. What you can win are the specific searches: your areas, your properties, and the detailed questions people ask before enquiring. Those convert far better anyway, because the person searching already knows roughly what they want.
We already pay for leads. Why invest in this too?
Paid leads stop the moment you stop paying, they are usually shared with several competitors, and the cost per lead tends to climb over time. Organic enquiries come to you directly and keep arriving from pages you built once. Most of our property clients keep both running and shift the balance gradually.
How long before we see enquiries?
Area and property specific pages can start producing enquiries within a couple of months, because competition for those terms is low. Broader visibility takes longer. We deliberately start with the pages closest to a decision so something arrives early.
We only operate in a few areas. Is that too small?
That focus is an advantage. A business covering three areas properly will beat a national site covering three hundred superficially, because you can answer with genuine local detail that a large platform cannot match.
Does this work for rentals and commercial, or only sales?
It works across all of them, though the searches differ. Rentals turn on budget, availability and commute. Commercial turns on size, location and lease terms. Sales turns on projects, prices and approvals. The approach is the same: find the specific searches your customers make, and be the best answer to them.
Do we need to keep publishing content forever?
No. Property has a large set of pages that stay useful for years: areas, properties, buyer and tenant guides. The ongoing work is mostly keeping them accurate as prices, availability and inventory change, rather than producing new content constantly.
