Content Strategy and Production
Forty posts. Full calendar. No pipeline.
Most businesses do not have a content problem. They have a content direction problem. The posts get written, the calendar stays full, and none of it is aimed at anyone who was ever going to buy.
Why does so much content do nothing?
Because it was commissioned to fill a schedule rather than to answer a buying question.
The usual process starts with a keyword tool, picks the terms with the biggest numbers, and produces a post for each. It feels productive. It fills a content calendar. But volume is highest where people are just beginning to look into a problem, often months before they will pay anyone. So you attract readers, not buyers.
Meanwhile the questions people ask right before they choose a supplier, about cost, about comparisons, about whether this even applies to their situation, go unanswered on your site. Someone else answers them, and gets the enquiry.
What we do instead
We start from the decision and work backwards, rather than starting from a keyword list and hoping.
What you get
A plan tied to what you sell
Every planned piece mapped to a stage of your buyer’s journey and a reason it exists, so nothing gets written just to fill a slot.
Content mapping against intent and commercial value.
The pages that close
Comparison pages, pricing explanations, and the objection handling questions your sales conversations already cover.
Bottom of funnel content built from real buyer objections.
Writing that sounds like you
Content in your voice, specific to your business, not generic filler that could belong to any competitor.
Briefing, production and editing against a defined voice.
Built to be quoted by AI
Structured so assistants can lift a clear answer and name you, which is increasingly where research starts.
Answer first structure with FAQ and article schema.
How it runs
- We work out what your buyers actually askUsually from your own sales conversations, support questions, and the searches happening in your category.Buyer question research across search and sales inputs.
- We audit what you already haveOften there are pages worth fixing rather than replacing. Updating an existing page is usually faster than writing a new one.Content inventory with keep, improve or retire decisions.
- We build the plan in priority orderDecision stage content first, awareness content after, so something starts working while the rest builds.Sequenced content roadmap with target queries.
- We write and structure itAnswer first, in your voice, marked up so both search engines and AI assistants can use it.Production with schema and internal linking.
- We track what earns enquiriesNot just traffic. Which pages people read before they contacted you.Page level reporting tied to enquiries.
Questions we get asked
How much content do we actually need?
Usually less than you think, and better than you have. A dozen pages that answer real buying questions will outperform a hundred posts written to fill a calendar. We would rather build fewer pages properly and keep them accurate.
We already have a blog. Do we start again?
Almost never. Most sites have existing pages that are close to useful and just need restructuring, updating, or merging. Improving an existing page that already has some history is generally faster than starting from zero.
Can we not just use AI to write it ourselves?
You can, and for some things it works fine. Where it tends to fall down is knowing what to write about, which is the part that actually determines whether content earns anything. Generic AI output also reads as generic, and both readers and search engines are increasingly good at spotting it. We use AI in production, but the direction and the specifics come from your business.
How long before content brings in enquiries?
Decision stage pages can start producing enquiries within a couple of months because competition for those specific questions is lower. Awareness content compounds over six to twelve months. The sequencing matters more than the volume.
Do you write for our industry specifically?
Yes, and we ask a lot of questions before we start. The parts that make content credible, the specifics, the real numbers, the things only someone in your business would know, have to come from you. We handle the structure, the research and the writing.
Find out which content is earning and which is just sitting there.
We will look at what you have published, what it is bringing in, and which buying questions your site has never answered. No pitch deck.
