Finance and Fintech
Google judges money content more harshly.
When a page can affect someone’s finances, search engines apply a higher standard to who is saying it and whether they can be trusted. Most finance sites are not losing to better SEO. They are losing because they have not proved they are credible.

Why finance is a harder category
Search engines treat financial advice as something that can genuinely harm people if it is wrong.
Pages that could affect someone’s money or wellbeing are held to a higher bar. In practice that means search engines look much harder at who wrote something, whether the business behind it is identifiable and legitimate, and whether the claims can be substantiated. A well optimised page from an anonymous site will lose to a plainer page from an institution people recognise.
The other complication is regulation. Financial content in India has real constraints on what can be claimed, and a page that overpromises returns or eligibility is a compliance problem before it is an SEO one. We write within those limits rather than around them.
What actually moves the needle here
What we do
Make your expertise visible
Named authors with real credentials, review processes, and clear information about who is behind the business. Often the single biggest gap.
Author entity markup, credential signalling, about and team page structure.
Answer the questions people actually ask
Eligibility, fees, comparisons, what happens if something goes wrong. Specific questions with specific answers, not general guides.
Question research with FAQ schema and comparison content.
Write within the rules
Content that says what you can legitimately claim, with the disclosures your category requires. Compliant and still persuasive.
Claims review against sector advertising norms.
Get cited when people ask AI
Financial questions are among the most common things people now ask assistants. Being the source they quote is worth having.
Structured, attributable content built for AI citation.

Questions finance teams ask
Our compliance team reviews everything. Does that slow this down?
It adds a step, and it is worth building into the schedule from the start rather than discovering it at the end. We write with your constraints in mind so review is a check rather than a rewrite, and we would rather send fewer pieces that pass cleanly than volume that gets rejected.
Can we rank against banks and big comparison sites?
Not usually on the broadest terms, where established institutions have decades of trust behind them. What is winnable are the specific questions: particular eligibility situations, product comparisons, and the detailed queries people search before applying. Those are less contested and much closer to a decision.
What is E-E-A-T and does it really matter?
It stands for experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust, and it is how search engine quality raters are asked to assess pages. It is not a direct ranking number, but in finance the things it describes correlate strongly with what actually ranks. In practice it means: show who wrote this and why they are qualified.
We are a startup with no brand recognition. Is this hopeless?
No, but the sequence matters. Building visible expertise, named people, clear company information and substantiated content, comes before chasing competitive keywords. Startups that skip that step tend to produce a lot of content that never ranks.
How long does this take in finance?
Longer than most categories, typically six to twelve months for meaningful movement on commercial terms. Specific long tail questions can rank faster. Anyone promising quick wins on financial keywords is either targeting terms nobody searches or is not being straight with you.
Find out what is actually holding your rankings back.
We will look at your credibility signals against whoever is outranking you, and tell you honestly whether the gap is content, trust, or something technical. No pitch deck.
